OBG Blog Hop - One Sheet Wonder Fall Themed Cards

Welcome to the Oldies But Goodies Blog hop.  The theme is to use at least 1 item in your stash that you have not used for 6 months ore more.  You should have arrived here from my dear friend and DIVAS sister Barbara's blog Made for Keeps and have seen her gorgeous design.   The first stop on the hop is the very creative Mary's blog My Stampin' Hide-Away so if you just arrived here and want to see the hop from the beginning click on the link to her blog and start from the beginning.

This is my project for the hop.  It is a group of cards I made using the Lovely as a Tree stamp set by Stampin' Up!  It is a set I have had for a very long time and I do dust it off from time to time.  It is one of the oldest and most loved Stampin' Up! sets and it is still a current set available for purchase.  The technique I used for the cards is also a very old technique called One Sheet Wonder.  I stamped an entire 8-1/2 x 11 inch piece of card stock randomly with all the stamps from the sets and sponged on some ink and then cut up the pieces to make the cards.  You can basically cut the 8-1/2 x 11 inch stamped cardstock anyway you want and make as many cards as you can with the pieces. I got 7 out of the pieces I cut with a little waste.

Since I live in Florida, this is the closest I get to "fall" colors.

Supply List:

Stamp Sets: Lovely As a Tree and sentiments from the following sets: Word Play, Sincere Salutations, Heard from the Heart, Warmest Wishes, and Faith in Nature

Cindy, these are lovely! You've been busy! I like the different shapes and sketches. I try to use a whole sheet of dp, especially the 12 x 12 but so much ends up in the scrap heap. I'll take a lesson from you, clever girl, and make a couple other cards, or even book marks to go with the main projects. Hugs!
